The events of September 11, 2001, destroyed many people's lives.
In the midst of all the violence, and in the wake of the destruction,
many of these everyday people showed us what true heroism and
courage is all about. It is our hope that this site will stand as a lasting
tribute for all those innocents who lost their lives that day, and perhaps
as a balm to all the families and friends who will never see their dear one's
faces again.
Through the images and the stories on this website, we would like to
introduce these heroes to the world, not as names on a too-long list
of casualties, but as real people, with lives and families, hopes and dreams.
Eventually, we would like to have a page here for every person we lost
that terrible day, with pictures of them and remembrances of their lives
so that everyone may know them, even if just a little bit.
Everyone has their own way of coping with the loss of a loved one, and we
will not intrude on that. We will never approach the families and friends of
the victims. We merely wish to provide the opportunity and the means for them
to have a memorial page for their lost loved ones. If they hear of this site, and
would like to have a page made for their loved one, it will be arranged and created.
No fee will ever be charged for making the pages or for hosting them on this site.
There are several areas on this site that may interest you. We have a chatroom set up for
discussions of anything related to the attacks and their aftermath. On the "Make a Memorial"
page you will find information on how to go about having us create and host a memorial page for
one of the victims of this tragedy. As more of the memorial pages are added, we will be adding
a site search engine to make them easier to locate. And lastly, there is a page with a short
bio of the two of us, just in case anyone is curious.
